Sallfort AG was founded in 1981 out of the leading international hops trading company Joh. Barth & Sohn (founded in 1794) in Nuremberg, Germany. Today it is a completely independent Swiss family business, headed by Johannes T. Barth, eighth generation descendent of the Barth family.
We are specialized in asset management and brokerage. Our offices in Basel, one of the traditional Swiss financial centres, serve a discerning customer base representing all income and asset classes.
Our achievements are based on a combination of valuable experience gained over 200 years of family history with the latest techniques in modern asset management.

Sallfort AG is a member of the Swiss Bankers Association, the Basel Banking Association and an associate member of the Swiss Stock Exchange (SWX).
In addition, Swiss banking secrecy and strict controls by the Swiss Banking Commission ensure the complete safety of the funds entrusted to us.
We hold the securities dealer (Effektenhändler) status. Thanks to the associated license from the Swiss Banking Commission, we are permitted to manage our customers' accounts and securities as an independent custodian. You can, of course, leave your assets with any of our renowned Swiss custodian banks and authorise us to manage them.
We also trade securities on all major stock exchanges world-wide. Our professional brokerage combines all the benefits of a modern, independent securities dealer in our own business unit.
