Independent asset management
Sallfort Privatbank AG was formed from Sallfort AG Basel and P&P Private Bank AG Zurich, and is headed by Johannes T. Barth, eighth-generation descendant of the Barth family.
Sallfort AG was founded in 1981 out of the leading international hop trading company Joh. Barth & Sohn (founded in 1794) in Nuremberg, Germany, and – even after its takeover of P&P Private Bank AG – is run by the Barth family in Basel as a independent Swiss family-owned company.
P&P Private Bank AG was also an independent company, specialising in asset management and wealth management before the take over.
We serve a discerning customer base representing all income and asset classes.
Our achievements are based on a combination of valuable experience gained over 200 years of family history with the latest techniques in modern asset management.
